Smarter Adults - Safer Children

Please find below the instructions for completing the annual mandatory training and testing provided through the Missouri United School Insurance Council (MUSIC).  All district employees must be compliant by September 15, 2010.  All new staff must complete training within 30 days of date of hire.  Please contact Janet Stumbaugh in Central Office at 573-564-2278 , should you have any questions. 

All new and existing employees must complete  the Smarter Adults - Safer Children “Preventing Child Sexual Abuse” original version ,“Bullying Prevention Program” and  “Technology Safety and Security”modules.    

NEW EMPLOYEES:  The following instructions are for those employees who DO NOT have an existing user ID and password for the MUSIC AGOSNET program:

  • Go to www.agosnet.com/music

  • Click on the link "NEED AN ACCOUNT?" on the right-hand side of the screen.

  • From the drop down menu, choose “Montgomery Co. R-II”. 

  • Click the "Select" button.

  • You should now be able to register a user ID and password for yourself (your user ID and password are case sensitive).

  • If you have a District email address, it is recommended that you use this for your user ID (if not, you may use your home email address).

  • Your password can be whatever you desire as long as it is 4 characters long.

  • Enter your first name, last name, and email address (again) and then click the "Submit Registration" button.

  • You should now be presented with the following question to answer - "Have you completed Smarter Adults-Safer Children: Preventing Child Sexual Abuse training either in live training session or online?"  This question is VERY IMPORTANT and is in reference to the mandatory, original version of Smarter Adults-Safer Children.  Please answer "NO".  You will then be assigned the ORIGINAL version of "Smarter Adults-Safer Children: Preventing Child Sexual Abuse (MUSIC)" and “Bullying Prevention” modules.

  • Click the "Continue" button.

  • Your user account has now been activated (please make a record of your MUSIC AGOSNET user ID and password).

  • At this time you may log into the MUSIC AGOSNET by clicking the "Log in" button and start your training.

  • Click on the round icon to the left of the training title, under "Online Training Modules" in the middle of the page, to begin your training (please be sure to log out of the program before you close your browser).
