In
Montgomery County R-II School District
Any non-public school student who has a legal residence in Montgomery County R-II School District (as defined to allow the student to register to attend the Montgomery County R-II School District) may be allowed to participate in Grade-Level, End-of-Course and State of Missouri mandated ACT assessments for 11th Grade students.
Any student who desires to participate in any of the above mentioned assessments must notify the Montgomery County R-II School District Test Coordinator, Dr. Della Bell-Freeman at 418 N. Hwy 19, Montgomery City, MO 63361; phone number 573-564-2278 ext. 7003 or by e-mailing to dbell@mc-wildcats.org at minimum by two (2) months prior to the beginning of the assessment period. If the non-public school student(s) has a 504 or and I.E.P. and requires accommodations, then the contact to the District Test Coordinator must be made four (4) months prior to the beginning of the assessment period.
These procedures will be shared with each Home Schooled family of record by mailing or hand delivery. These procedures will be shared with any private school located within the boundaries of the Montgomery County R-II School District. In addition, a link to these procedures will be on the District Web site at www.mc-wildcats.org.
Once a student is registered to take an assessment, the Building Principal of the building in which the student would have been attending had they been enrolled in the Montgomery County R-II School District will contact the parents/guardians and provide them with written directions for the time and place of the testing as well as any pertinent information they will need.
