Wednesday- Wear your favorite jersey or team shirt. Change the World Day- wear a hat for $1
Thursday- Team Color Day (PreK- red, K- orange, 1st- yellow, 2nd- green, 3rd- blue, 4th-purple, 5th- pink)
Friday- Game Day! Wear your Wildcat gear or blue & white!
Mark your calendar for the Daddy-Daughter Dance: on Saturday, February 17th. See the flyer for details. (Flyer can be found on Facebook and the MCE website.

Tuesday, January 30: We will have pajama day tomorrow, January 30th! This will count in the Great Kindness Challenge class participation competition.
Friday, February 2: Mother-Daughter Paint Night. We hope to see you there!
Mother-Daughter Paint Night at MCE has been rescheduled for Friday, February 2nd beginning at 6:00 pm. If you are unable to attend the make-up date and have already paid, please contact PTO and they will refund your payment. The PTO officers can be reached at montgomerycityelementarypto@gmail.com

Due to snow days, spirit wear sales are extended until Friday, February 2nd. Order forms can be found in the MCE office or the Snappy Graphics FB page. Please turn orders and money in by the 2nd.

The guidelines for indoor recess are when outside temperatures are 20 degrees or less or the outside temperature when combined with the wind chill factor of 20 degrees or less. If the heat index is 100 degrees or above, students will remain inside during recess.
Classes go outside for recess as much as possible. Please ensure that your child comes to school prepared for outdoor recess.

Classes resume on January 3rd. Reminder- school begins at 7:50.
Wednesday, January 3rd- Change the World Hat Day- bring $1 & wear a hat
Friday, January 5th- PTO Fundraiser Recess- students who sold 12 or more items for the Bobo's Fundraiser will have an extra recess
Project Prom will have Wildcat Apparel on sale this evening for any last-minute Christmas purchases.
Also, our concert will be broadcast in the cafeteria for additional and optional seating.
On December 21st MCE students will be dismissed as follows:
Early buses dismiss at 12:15
Pick-ups and walkers dismiss at 12:30
Late bus dismissal as they arrive
We will not have afternoon preschool or ECSE classes on December 21st. MCE will welcome the morning early childhood groups as normally scheduled.
