Our PTO Carnival is quickly approaching-this is the last call for grade-level silent auction items. If you can donate to a grade level basket please send/drop off items at school by Friday, April 12th.

Tuesday, April 9th- Kindergarten and 1st Grade Grandparent's Day- doors open at 12:20. Program begins at 12:30. Matinee performance at 2:00 pm. Please send a note if your child has permission to go home with their Grand after the event.
Mrs. Polston will have the spring book fair open after school until 5:50. The evening Fine Arts Performance and Art Show begins at 6:00 pm.
Thursday, April 11th- Board of Education Meeting at JBE- begins at 7:30 pm
Friday, April 12th- Spring Picture Day!
The Bookfair will be open after school until 5:50 before the 2nd and 3rd grade program on April 4th and before the Kindergarten and 1st grade program on April 9th.

Good afternoon! We just received word from the trash bag company that there has been a delay in the delivery of our order. Trash bag pick up will now be scheduled for Friday, April 5th from 4:00-5:30. Our apologies for the change of plans and any inconvenience this may cause.
Mrs. Polston is looking for parent volunteers for the upcoming book fair. All volunteers must have a background check on file with the district. See the flyer on our Facebook page, website, and your email inbox for more information.

Wednesday, March 6th- 100th Day Celebration- wear a 100th day shirt or dress like you are 100 years old. It is also "Wacky Wednesday", so wear wacky pants, socks, or shoes with your 100th-day gear.
Wednesday, March 6th- MCE will be participating in the statewide tornado drill.
Thursday, March 7th- "The Day the Crayons Came Home"- wear your favorite color
Friday, March 8th- Character Day- dress as your favorite book character or wear your Hogwarts house colors.
MCE students and staff will be celebrating the 100th day of school on Wednesday, March 6th. Students are invited to join wear a 100th-day t-shirt or dress like they are 100 years old.
We are proud of the great things our students have accomplished over the first 100 days of school and look forward to celebrating with them!
