The JBE PTO sent home Cash Cube Pledge Fundraiser forms in Friday Folders today. Students are encouraged to collect pledges to purchase "chances" for an opportunity to spend ONE MINUTE in the "Cash Cube." Chances are only for JBE students. $1=1 entry and $5=6 entries. One student's name will be drawn to be in the cash cube for every $250 the fundraiser brings in. The two students who raise the most money will have a choice between movie and popcorn for your class or an hour for you and two friends with the staff member of your choice. Pledge sheets and money are due Tuesday, April 5.
Once we finish our One Book read, Frindle, join us for family night. We will food, trivia, bingo, prizes, and fun at this FREE event. Join us at 6pm Thursday, April 3 for food and 6:45-7:30 for bingo and prizes.
The Student Council is hosting a Blood Drive on Thursday, April 10th. Our goal is to have 35 donors. We would love for you to consider donating blood at our blood drive.
Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.

The Jonesburg Elementary Staff was honored with the Board of Directors Award from the Joneburg-High Hill Fire Protection District at their recent annual banquet. JBE kicked off their 8th One Book, One Community event today. Students recieved a copy of Frindle and are reading it together this month. If you would like to read with us, stop by the school and pick up your free copy of Frindle.
