This weekend, please take a moment to check your smoke alarms and replace their batteries. Ensuring that your smoke alarms are working properly is a crucial step in keeping your home safe. Test each alarm to make sure it's functioning, and replace the batteries if needed. If your smoke alarms are more than 10 years old, consider replacing them entirely. Your vigilance helps keep your family safe!

Safety starts at home, and having a fire escape plan is essential. Please take some time this week to create and review a fire escape plan with your family. Ensure that everyone knows the exits, has a designated meeting spot outside, and understands their role in case of an emergency. Practicing this plan regularly will help everyone stay calm and prepared. Your family's safety is the top priority!
It is National Fire Prevention Week. Thank you to all our first responders for their incredible dedication in keeping us safe during emergencies. This week, take a moment to discuss fire safety procedures with your family. Make sure everyone knows what to do in case of a fire to ensure your family’s safety.

Thank you for your understanding and patience!
Happy first day of school! Thank you for your patience and understanding as we strive to improve the safety of our students during drop-off and pick-up times. During morning drop-off, cars and buses will merge onto Harper Street. Moving forward, bus drivers have been asked to put out their stop signs any time they are loading or unloading students. Remember it is illegal to pass a bus with their stop sign out.
Additionally, there will be a bus in the parking lot around 8:15. Please be mindful of this bus and it's stop sign as you come through the lot.
Preschool Parents:
AM- drop-off and pick-up will be outside the main entrance.
PM- drop-off and pick-up will be in the lot at the corners of Cross and State Streets.
