We are so excited to invite our Pre-K families to Grands Day on Friday, April 4th! 💙 This special event is a wonderful opportunity for students to share their classroom, activities, and fun with their beloved grandparents or grandfriends!

🕑 Afternoon Class: 2:00 – 3:00 PM
Guests will enter through the main doors and be escorted to the gym for the event.

Tomorrow is the Cardinal's Opening Day! We can't go to the ballpark but let's celebrate at MCE by wearing Cardinal/red shirts, jerseys or hats. Let's go, Cards!

On Thursday, February 27th, Henry Deering will step into the role of Principal for the Day! 🏫
To celebrate, Principal Deering has declared Pajama Day for all students and staff! 🛏️ So, come dressed in your coziest PJs! 😴
And that's not all! Students are also invited to bring a stuffed animal (that fits in their backpack, of course) for the day! 🧸
To make the day even more special, Principal Deering has decided that each classroom will enjoy a short movie! 🍿🎬

We are excited to announce that thanks to our amazing PTO, all MCE students will enjoy the Metro Theatre production of "But What Can You Do" on February 21st! 🌟
This wonderful performance will provide our students with a unique, engaging experience that encourages them to think, learn, and grow. We are so grateful for the PTO’s continued support in bringing such enriching opportunities to our school community. 🙏💙

Learning menus for Preschool-5th grade are now posted on the MCE website: https://www.mc-wildcats.org/o/mces. 🌟
Students should complete 5 activities (4 core subjects + 1 special). They can also do 20 minutes of iReady reading/math and 20 minutes of additional reading each AMI day. 🖊️
On AMI Day #1, MCE had an 83% completion rate! Let’s keep up the momentum and aim for 80% completion district-wide. 🙌
