Cocoa and Caroling - Take 2
Since we had to cancel our 2nd/3rd and 4th/5th grade's caroling performances due to the storm on Friday evening, we want to reschedule with a matinee performance.
2nd & 3rd Grade will host a matinee performance on Monday, Dec. 20th at 3:00 pm in the MCE gym.
4th & 5th Grade will host a matinee performance on Tuesday, Dec. 21 at 3:00 pm in the MCE gym.
Student's families are invited to join us if they would like. We will also record the event and post it on our website for you to enjoy if you cannot attend.
MCE's Holiday Shoppe will be open this week!
Students are allowed to shop for their family members at their class' designated times.
All items in the shoppe will cost between $1 and $5.
Please send the money your child may spend in an envelope marked Holiday Shoppe.

All 3rd/4th and 5th/6th Youth Basketball games will be played at the Montgomery County Middle School this Saturday December 11th.

Attention Science Fair participants!
We will be passing out the display boards and the notebooks tomorrow (Friday) from 4-6pm at the Montgomery City Elementary School cafeteria. Please make sure you have submitted your permission slip so you can pick up your supplies!
TOMORROW ( Wednesday, November 17) is Change the World Day at MCE. Students are invited to wear their favorite hat for the day with a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association.
We are so excited about the large amount of the interest we have had in the science fair! It is going to be awesome and we are going to have amazing prizes!
To get your boards and books we need the permission slips filled out (the last page of the packet that was sent home). Please get those signed as soon as possible and turn them in.
We can start passing out the supplies as early as Friday. (And you can turn those in anytime but you get a bonus 10 points if they are submitted by Friday, November 19th!)

Thursday, November 18th at 6:45 pm the MCE PTO will meet in the MCE Cafeteria. Everyone is welcome to attend.
MCE's 2nd & 3rd grade Fine Arts Night will be next Thursday, November 18th. The concert, "Oh Say Can You Sing?" will begin at 6pm.
Our student have prepared a number of songs that honor our country and pay tribute to our veterans and active service members. We want to take this time to say thank you!
Students who are performing are asked to arrive in the music room at 5:45 pm. Students performing are asked to werar red, white and/or blue.
We will offer a matinee performance at 2 pm on November 18th for parents and grandparents who may not be able to attend the evening performance. We will open the doors to guests for the matinee at 1:50 pm. The 2 pm performance will be recorded and shared on our website for family members to enjoy, that may not be able to attend.
Tom Evans Fundraiser items will be available for pickup on THURSDAY November 11th at MCE!!! The pick up times will be from 4pm to 6pm.
Items will be in the MCE Cafeteria for pick up. You must park and come inside to get your items. Parents are not allowed in the building until after our students are dismissed, which will be 4 pm.
MCE - Remember that Daylight Savings Time ends this weekend. Set your clocks back 1 hour before you go to bed Saturday Night.

Let's go Wildcats! Three of the MCHS Cross Country team are competing at state this weekend. To support Lyric, Dawson, and Malia MCE is having a Wildcat day on Friday. Wear your blue and white or Wildcat gear and help cheer on the Cross Country team.
Information for those who have registered for the MCR-II Youth Basketball Program.
We will be utilizing both the MCE Gym and the HS Gym for skill work. We feel the extra space provided in the HS gym will be a benefit to us to space them out.

1st and 2nd Grade Girls and Boys- 8:00-9:00 am MCE
3rd-6th Grade Boys- 9:30 - 10:30 am MCHS
3rd - 6th Grade Girls- 10:45 - 11:45 am MCHS
