Montgomery County Cancer Supporters Easter Egg Fundraiser is going home in backpacks today. Students will be bringing home a plastic Easter egg to fill with change. Eggs will need to be returned by Wednesday, April 13. The class that raises the highest amount will win donuts for their class.

Quinn C. received the Jonesburg Elementary Principal's Excellence Award. Quinn volunteered to learn sign-language to help a non-verbal friend in her class develop social relationships with her classmates. Mrs. Linstruth says, “Quinn is such a kind person and I commend her for her willingness to learn something new in order to help a peer fit in and feel accepted. She is a terrific example of someone who accepts and celebrates diversity.” Quinn was recognized at morning assembly and was presented with the Principal's Excellence Award.
