Jonesburg Elementary students participated in emergency drills today. For Bus Safety Week, our bus riders practiced a bus evacuation drill. Students and staff also participated in the Great Shakeout with an earthquake drill.
It is School Bus Safety Week. Thank you to all our bus drivers who make sure we get to and from school every day safely. Thank you!
Jonesburg Elementary will be remembering Veterans Day the week of November 11 on our Facebook page.
We are asking students and staff to submit names of their special veterans to be included on our Wall of Honor. Please fill out the form and return it to school by Wednesday, November 3.
A veteran is a person who is currently or has at any time served in our Armed Services.
You may also submit a photo of your veteran. You may email a digital copy to addavis@mc-students.org or send in a physical photo. If you send a physical photo, please make sure it is labeled with a student name as well so we may return it.
IF you submitted a veteran last year, you do not need to resubmit, they will remain on the wall.

Students will be allowed to dress as their favorite book character, wear a fall shirt or come as themselves. We ask that the costumes are school dress code appropriate and that there are No Mask, No Weapons (including swords & sabers), No Gore, and No Blood. Students will not be able to change during the day. If they are dressing up, please make sure it is something they can be comfortable in for the entire day and that it is not a distraction to learning.
