The Jonesburg Elementary Cafeteria, Gymnasium, and Library all have new names. The signs are up and we are so proud of our students who had the top scores on the MAP test last spring. Congratulations to Kaydon R, Alyssa D, and Angela L.
Preserve your memories and purchase a copy of this year’s Christmas Concert. DVDs are $5 each and will include a full concert. DVDs will be ready before Christmas Break. Proceeds from the DVD sale will go to purchase additional media equipment.

Jacquelynne H. received the Jonesburg Elementary Principal's Excellence Award for her achievement of leading by example. Jacquelynne has gone above and beyond to help her classmates be successful. She volunteers to help her classmates. Her gentle demeanor and kind words are encouraging and her compassion for others shows what it looks like to be a great leader. Jacquelynne was recognized at morning assembly and was presented with the Principal's Excellence Award.
The JBE Christmas Program will be Tuesday, December 7. We will have the K-1st Grade Matinee at 1:00, 2nd-3rd Grade Matinee at 1:45, and 4th-5th Grade Matinee at 2:30. The doors will open at 12:45pm for the matinees. The evening performances will be 6:00 for the K-1st Grade Concert, 6:45 for the 2nd-3rd Grade Concert, and 7:30 for the 4th-5th Grade Concert. Door will open at 5:45pm for the evening performances. We do not plan on having Santa in attendance this year, but a Christmas backdrop will be set up in the PK lobby with Willie the Wildacat and a santa hat for people to take pictures if they choose.

The Annual Larry Richards Food Drive is November 16-19. We are collecting NON-PERISHABLE items for Thanksgiving Baskets. The class who collects the most items will win a pizza party.
Currently, Mrs. Davis's class is in third place, with Ms. Cay's class in second, and Mrs. Hillebrand's class has a comanding lead for first place.
Jonesburg Elementary would like to thank Frumpy's and everyone who dined out on Jonesburg Elementary Night at Frumpy's. Frumpy's gave back almost $150 on their first Jonesburg Elementary Night. The first Wednesday of the month Frumpy's will donate 10% of their sales to Jonesburg Elementary. Mark your calendars on join us in December.
