The JBE PTO is sponsoring the Sweetheart Dance (formally Daddy/Daughter Dance) Friday, March 4th from 6:30-8pm at the shcool. JBE girls are encouraged to bring someone close to their heart. There will be dancing, snacks, and a Princess Crowning.
We will celebrate the 100th Day of School on March 9th! Students are welcome to celebrate 100 Days by wearing 100 of something or dressing like a 100 year old. If you have clarifying questions, please contact your student’s classroom teacher.

Our book fair goal this spring is to sell 550 books. If we meet our goal someone will get a pie in the face. During the book fair we will have a penny war to decide who will get the pie in the face. 150% of all change brought in for the penny war will go back to JBE. Remember pennies and dollar are votes for a pie in the face and silver change will help save someone from a pie in the face.

Screening typically takes approximately an hour. It provides a snapshot of your child’s physical, language, and social development. You should expect a brief summary of your child’s screening at the conclusion of their appointment.
Transportation to Preschool will not be provided. Parents/ Guardians will be responsible for providing transportation to & from Preschool. Parents will be notified by April 15th whether or not their child has a Preschool spot for 2022-2023.
Our Wildcat Boys & Girls Basketball Teams won Districts on Saturday afternoon. This is the first time in school history that the boys and girls teams won districts in the same year. Please help spread the word in hopes that we can "Paint the County BLUE on Wildcat Wednesday" to show support for our student-athletes competing in the State Sectional games! The girls will play at 6:00 pm vs. Tipton HS and the boys at 7:45 pm vs. Cole Camp at Smith- Cotton High School in Sedalia. (2010 Tiger Pride Blvd., Sedalia, MO 65301) Congratulations to our players, cheerleaders and coaches for this accomplishment! Go Wildcats!
Montgomery County R-II is taking nominations for Teacher of the Year. Teachers can be nominated for the Teacher of the Year in their building. A district Teacher of the Year will be selected from the buildings Teachers of the Year. Nominations will be taken from February 8 - 25, 2022. The building winners will be announced the week of March 7. The district winner will be announced the week of March 28, 2022. The MCR-II Teacher of the Year will represent our district at the regional level. Please take a moment to nominate a teacher by completing this form.

Soda Tab collection has been extended to Friday, February 25. The MCHS FCCLA officers are ready to collect soda tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri. Send your tabs to school with your student. The class who collects the most tabs will win a popcorn party.
