The JBE Christmas Concert is December 11. If you would like to order a copy of the concerts, orders are due December 13 and will be sent home with students before break.
Tomorrow is stretchy pant Friday at JBE. Students are welcome to join in the fun and wear their comfy, stritchy pants. Please remember Friday is P.E. for most of our students, so don't forget to wear your P.E. shoes.
Don't forget, Wildcat apparel orders are due TOMORROW - November 22 if you want your order by Christmas break.
Our JBE PTO will again be hosting Santa's Workshop December 10-13 for our students who wish to buy presents for their loved ones. PTO is looking for help with the Santa Shop. We will have school on Monday, November 25th. It will be a Wednesday specials day. And we will be on Thanksgiving Break November 27-December 2.
K-5 Performances
It's almost time! Our JBE Christmas Concert is coming up on Wednesday, December 11th. The concert will be held at Jonesburg Elementary in our gym. ALL grade levels, K-5 will be performing at the following times on the same night. K-1st will be singing at 6:00, 2nd-3rd will be singing at 6:45, and 4th-5th will be singing at 7:30. We will also be offering a matinee performance at the following times. K-1st will be singing at 1:00, 2nd-3rd will be singing at 1:45, and 4th-5th will be singing at 2:30. Doors will open at 12:45 and 5:45 respectively for the first performance.
There will be an Art Gallery in the secondary hallway, giving you a visual treat as you stroll down to the photo backdrop area. Just as in a real gallery the student artists have the option to sell their work (only at the evening performances)! The artists will get to experience the real-world connection of selling pieces in a gallery, with the gallery and the student both profiting from the sale (all proceeds will go towards the purchase of things to enhance the art curriculum). We welcome you to view their work and support our budding artists with purchases of art that catches your eye! We are excited to share our students’ talents with you and look forward to seeing you at your student's performance.
Students are asked to dress in holiday shirts or dress nicely.

Join us for the Preschool performance at 3:00 on December 18th in the JBE Cafeteria.
The second sale order and money are due November 22nd, and shirts will be delivered by Christmas Break.

Congratulations to Mrs. Fitzgerald, Mrs. Cay, Mrs. Weatherford, Mrs. Ventimiglia, and Mrs. Davis for winning MCR-II Mini Grants. The grants will allow those staff members to purchase more STEM, reading, and language activities along with other things. Thank you to the Montgomery City Kiwanis, Jonesburg Lions, Jonesburg Optimist, Jonesburg Lady Lioness, Montgomery City Lions, and the Montgomery County Rotary Clubs for sponsoring the mini grants.

The Jonesburg Lighted Parade will be on December 6th. Larry Richards Club members are invited to ride on a float this year. Students are invited to help decorate the float on Sunday, December 1st, 1pm.
