Next week is a busy one. We will be hosting Parent/Teacher Conferences on October 29 & 30. Our first quarter Growth Parade, Harvest Party Day, and Harvest Day Parade are all on October 30. Plus there is NO SCHOOL on October 31.
This year our first quarter Growth Parade and our Harvest Party Day Parade, they line up to be on the same day. You won't want to miss it! It starts promptly at 8:05. Guests are welcome to sit in the bleachers to enjoy the costumes and celebrate our first quarter growth.
Please note that the parade can be attended by everyone, but the Harvest Party is for Jonesburg Elementary students only. Please do not bring younger siblings, cousins, etc.
Fall Harvest Parties will be held from 2:30-3:30 on Thursday, October 30th. Your student's teacher should be reaching out soon for help! Please make sure you RSVP if you are planning to help with Harvest Parties so we know who to expect in our building.

The JBE Veterans Day celebration will be Thursday, November 6th at 2:30 pm in the JBE cafeteria. We woud like to invite our JBE students' veterans to attend. If you have a veteran who would like to attend, please fill out the RSVP and send it back to school by Thursday, October 30. Please indicate if your veteran will be taking your student home that day. This year JBE will be hosting Stars, Stripes, and Snacks before the celebration for our veterans. If your veteran would like to attend, please mark that on the RSVP. Students may attend with their veteran with parent permission. Wagner Portrait Group will be at school to photograph any students who were absent on the original Picture Day. Retake photos will also be available upon request.
If your student is having a retake, please return the entire portrait package (including the insert sheet) to the photographer on retake day. Feel free to attach a note describing what you’d like done differently.

Congratulations to our All Star Students of the Week.

Kindergarten and 5th grade celebrated top PTO Soap Sale sales with popcorn parties!

Mr. Elder stopped by JBE this week to talk about the Science Fair. Interest froms went home in Friday Folders. If you would like to participate in the science fair or would like more information, fill out the interst form and return it to school by Friday, October 24.

JBE Families - Don't forget to send in your Fill the Box donations. We are half way to our goal of 300 items collected. All donations need to be to the school by Friday 10/17.

JBE Families please check your MCR2 "Rooms" App to see if there are any messages or posts from yoru students teacher. Many of the classroom teachers have sent messages requesting help (volunteers & donations) for the quickly approaching Harvest Parties. If you are willing to help, but didn't recieve a message, please reach out to your students teacher and let them know so that we can get you on our RSVP list. Thank you for your support!

Jonesburg Elementary students received the gift of a pumpkin from Rooster's Farm today, courtesy of the Hunter Family. Pumpkins will be coming home tonight with your student. THANK YOU to the Hunter Family for sharing the fall spirit with our students!

We are very excited about our whole school field trip to Rooster's Farm. Parents, guardians, and field trip chaperones, please read the expectations so that you are prepared. If you have any questions, please call our office before 11 am on Friday. THANK YOU to the Jonesburg Optimist, Jonesburg Lions and the JBE PTO for making this trip possible!

JBE Student Council is helping out the MCHS FCCLA by collecting ANY NEW health, hunger, or hygiene item. All items will be donated first to our local school buildings, then extra items will be donated to the Care to Learn project that provides items to students in schools across Missouri.
JBE will be collecting October 14-17.

The JBE Student Council presented a check to Mrs. Janet Stumbaugh for the NRG Buddy Pack program. The NRG Buddy Pack program was the focus of the student council's first Change the World Day this year.
