It's Teacher Appreciation Week. Reach out to your teacher and tell them Thank You. JBE is grateful to have such a caring staff to help our students learn and grow. Thank you for all you do for our students.
Our preschool students are almost ready for kindergarten. Come help your preschool student celebrate being ready for kindergarten on Wednesday, May 22 at 3:00 pm in the preschool lobby. Doors open at 2:55 pm.
JBE 5th Grade students will be MAP testing on 5/7, 5/8, & 5/9. Please remind your student to get a good night's rest, eat a good breakfast, and do their best on the test! We believe in them and know you do too. Please encourage them to test like an Olympic MVP!
It's School Lunch Hero Day. Thank you Mrs. Karen and Mrs. Becky for making sure we are all fed.
Field Day is coming up on Friday, May 10th. Students will need to bring a water bottle, hat, sunglasses, towel, change of clothes, a small bag, and sunscreen.
If you are planning to come as a spectator, you must let the office or your students classroom teacher know. Please know that spectators are welcome to cheer for the students, but please do not participate in the games. We have staff, adult volunteers and high school helpers to run the event.
Our 5th Grade Class is ready for middle school. Come help us celebrate their accomplishments from this year and their time at JBE. Tuesday, May 21 at 6:00 pm we will be hosting our 5th Grade Celebration. Doors will open at 5:45 pm.
The last day of school is coming quicker than we may. Our last day of school is a half day on Thursday, May 23. There will be no preschool on Thursday, May 23. Please make arrangements for your students.
It's the first Wednesday of the month. Take the day off from cooking and stop by Frumpy's for lunch or dinner. 10% of all sales today will be donated to Jonesburg Elementary. Thank you to Frumpy's for your continued support.
The End of Year Awards Assemblies are approaching quickly. Mark your calendars and join us in celebrating the accomplishments of our students this year.

Summer Book Boxes are back! Each Summer Book Box contains 3-4 books selected specifically for your student, summer STEAM activity sheets, and some fun goodies. Everything is yours to keep (even the books). If you would like a Summer Book Box for your student, please fill out and return the form or send a note to our librarian letting us know which of your students would like a book box. Book boxes will be sent home on Wednesday, May 22.
It's Administrative Professionals Day. Thank you to Mrs. Chris and Mrs. Rachel for everything you do for our students, parents, staff, and school. We are so lucky to have you in our building. Thank you!

In honor of the upcoming Summer Olympics, we have decided to do an Olympic theme for Testing Season at JBE. The end of the year is exciting for obvious reasons, but we need your help encouraging students to do their best on the upcoming end-of-the-year tests. This data really helps us how to identify how to help them grow and learn. Remind your student they have trained like an Olympian and it's their time to shine! A few test taking reminders. Finish Strong. Believe in Yourself. Do Your Best. Use Your Strategies. Eat Well & Get Rest. JBE Students are MVPs!
JBE is getting ready to embark on our annual MAP Testing adventure. Please mark the calendar for your student's testing dates. Our goal is 100% attendance on testing day for the grade level that is being tested! Please communicate absences with us so we can plan accordingly.
